• Job Data: When you use the extension on LinkedIn, we temporarily collect the text of the job description you are viewing to analyze it.
• User Input: Use inputs such as your resume text, which is stored locally on your device (Chrome Local Storage) or securely in our database if you create an account.
• Account Info: If you sign up for our SaaS platform, we collect your email address and payment status via Stripe/Supabase.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely to provide the core functionality of JobTect:

• To analyze job descriptions and generate insights (Job Health Score).
• To tailor your resume and cover letters using Artificial Intelligence (OpenAI).
• To manage your subscription and credits.

4. Data Sharing and AI

To provide our AI features, non-identifiable job descriptions and resume text snippets are sent to our AI provider (OpenAI). We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure database practices (Supabase), to protect your data. Resume data stored in the Chrome Extension remains on your local device until you explicitly choose to generate content.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You can manage your local data by clearing your browser cache/storage or delete your account via the JobTect dashboard.
